My future job

Hello
As you may know I´m studying architecture, so is easy to think that I want to work being an architect. I used to think that too, but I’m not that sure. I would like to do another things, not instead of architecture but besides. For me, architecture is not just make buildings and I would really like to use my knowledge (or future knowledge) to create usable and beautiful things made of wood, like furniture or related.

I like the indoor work, and is not a problem to me to work in a room with a computer or a big table with draws, but I wouldn’t must to work like that. I don’t know if my dream job is make houses. I would like to do more than one activity. Give talks to young people maybe in a little school about anything, or work in set design for plays.
I don’t know, I’m a indecisive person, so I can’t tell you about what would be THE job that I want. I just want to earn money that let me live quiet and with some taste once in a while. The good news are that now I’m in time to learn and decide what I like more, and well…Just have to wait to face the future with optimism and trusting in the things that I’m learning now.

Post 3

It´s difficult for me to choose between movies or restaurants because I love movies and I love to eat too. But ok, I don’t usually go to restaurants (I prefer the homemade food) and I watch movies so, why can’t we talk about both of them? From Disney’s Pixar Studio, I bring to you, Ratatouille.

The movie is about a rat who loves to cook and is good at that, whose name is Remy. Remy lives with his family in a cellar of little country house of France and he sees everyday on TV a show of cooking and he admires the chef on that show, and he has a maxim that says “anyone can cook”.

I like so much this movie because it knocks down the prejudices and it’s an incentive to face the life passionately. Maybe you feel like only “a rat” when you think about your aspirations. I study architecture, and a lot of times the orders are very difficult to me, and the spirit is not always the best. But in that moment I should think “this is not from other world, you can do it”. Because I can. And you can too, because anyone can cook, even if you are only "a little rat".

Out There Tour 2014

I haven't went to so many concerts, but there is one that I consider the most important of them. As you may know, I really love The Beatles (actually I mentioned them on my last blog entry), and when I heard that Paul McCartney was to come to Chile in 2014, I really felt crazy about it, because in 2011 I didn’t can go.

The concert was in Movistar Arena at 9 PM, and I got there with my best friend at 12 AM to make the line. Then in the afternoon my brother came and he joined us. The concert started with Magical Mystery Tour, a song very rhythmic and with energy.
So he sang songs of The Beatles and his own songs, most of them classics and some from his last album, very recently then (just one year early). The concert lasted about two hours and a half
.
There it was a moment when he remembered John and George (one song for each one), and that was really emotive. That is my favourite concert of my life.

A country I´d like to visit.

There is two main things that I really like, and these are The Beatles, and Harry Potter, and both are from England. For that reason I’d like to visit it, and visit some iconic places. But that is not the only reason; as you might know, I’m studying architecture and I think that the English architecture and places in general, are so beautiful.

The downtown of London seems very nice to me, the classic style of the old buildings, the neighborhoods and the little streets that looks like Valparaíso, I really love just to walk around there. Maybe the first thing on my bucket list in England will be just walk and stop in a café, with a good company and a good conversation. Maybe draw the streets too.

England is an island, and it has fields too. I’d really live in there at least a few of months, in the fields or in a little village. I love the quiet life (I don´t know what I’m doing studying architecture lol) and I love the idea from a Friday afternoon drinking a cup of tea or coffee and some snacks with the sunset at my back.
